The Opportunity

As a Senior Consultant within our Global Incentives, Innovation and Location Services team, you will participate in the initiation, development and implementation of client EU funded projects and initiatives. Within the role you will work closely with clients from the public and private sector and will support a pipeline of projects and incentives to access a full range of European funding and involving transformation, reform and growth initiatives in a range of areas and sectors.

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Economics/Law/Political Science or similar fields
• 3-4 years of experience in the field of project development/project management, monitoring and implementation is a must
• Deep knowledge and understanding of EU programs and the related legislation
• Experience in expert activities such as preparation of analytical reports, research tasks, drafting of strategies & action plans would be considered as an advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of public procurement processes and procedures would be considered as an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English (another language is a plus)
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential)
• Very good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, positive attitude
• Desire to teamwork and constantly exceed expectations

Responsibilities:

As a Senior consultant, you will be involved in the entire project management cycle as you will be expected to contribute in:

• Provide general analysis of policy development on different policy areas
• Prepare/coordinate input into discussion and proposals related to specific project opportunities
• Contribute towards the development of projects/proposals for a wide range of clients from the public/private sector
• Prepare and/or coordinate briefings, working papers and other contributions related to specific clients and/or projects
• Closely follow news & developments in the field of EU Funding and prepare regular internal and client updates
• Support the team in the development and preparation of individual projects/proposals
• Contribute towards individual projects management within the entire project lifecycle (technical, administrative, financial management) incl. planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
• Contribute towards the successful implementation of project activities incl. analytical reports, business and other types of research
• Follow up and solve problems related to the implementation of individual projects
• Carry-out internal coordination tasks including within the team and with external stakeholders
• Support the team in ongoing communication with current & potential clients as well as other relevant stakeholder depending on individual projects and tasks.
