Your key responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions for financial services clients, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ServiceNow implementations.
- Oversee the planning, development, and deployment of ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to:-
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- IT Operations Management (ITOM)
- IT Business Management (ITBM)
- Security Incident Response (SIR)
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Asset Management
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Performance Analytics
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
- HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Conduct assessments of client environments to identify opportunities for improving service management processes and enhancing ServiceNow functionality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, configuration specifications, and user guides.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including systems integration, data migration, and customization efforts.
- Mentor and support development teams in best practices for ServiceNow development, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to project timelines.
- Stay informed of the latest ServiceNow features, industry trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial sector, making recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
- Act as a key advisor to clients, facilitating workshops and presentations to communicate solution designs, project progress, and status updates.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ServiceNow System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect, with a strong focus on implementations within the financial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including architecture, data models, and APIs.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, Security Incident Response, Customer Service Management, Asset Management, Project Portfolio Management, Performance Analytics, GRC, and HR Service Delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design effective solutions to complex business challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in agile delivery methodologies, e.g. sprints, product backlogs, user stories.
- Technical proficiency with ServiceNow, including experience with configuration, customization, and integration.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
