Your key responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow HR Service Delivery and workplace projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed to the highest standard.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering sessions with HR stakeholders to understand both functional and technical needs. Analyze these requirements to develop clear and concise documentation for use by the development team.
- Team Management: Act as the primary liaison between the onshore project team and the offshore development team. Manage and coordinate the offshore team's activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within HR service delivery and recommend solutions that leverage ServiceNow capabilities to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Collaborate with the solution architect and developers to design and implement ServiceNow HR Service Delivery modules that meet the project's functional and technical requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing phase, including the creation of test plans, test cases, and coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the developed solutions meet the specified requirements.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring that their contributions align with project goals and deliverables.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Ensure that the HR team and end-users are well-trained on the new ServiceNow functionalities and that proper documentation is provided for ongoing support and maintenance.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of the new ServiceNow HR Service Delivery solutions across the organization.
Skills and attributes for success
- HR Service Delivery Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HR service delivery frameworks and the ability to leverage ServiceNow to enhance HR operations.
- ServiceNow Proficiency: Advanced technical skills in ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, and integration. Familiarity with ServiceNow's HR Service Delivery module is essential.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand detailed HR functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Possess strong Interpersonal and Teaming skills: Exceptional team collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams and fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Technical Acumen: Leverage technology to continually learn, improve service delivery and maintain our leading-edge best practices.
- Training and Development: Experience in developing and delivering training materials and sessions to ensure end-users are proficient in using the ServiceNow platform.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills and proficiency in the use of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a flexible approach to managing workload.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, having worked with firms like asset managers, private banks or wealth managers, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, private equity firms or hedge funds.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and experience in automating HR services.
- Academic background in Engineering, IT, Business, HR, Economics or Finance.
- Consulting skills, functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow and enterprise application delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions.
- Track record dealing with senior stakeholders and adapting to demanding environments.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in agile delivery methodologies, e.g. sprints, product backlogs, user stories.
- Technical proficiency with ServiceNow, including experience with configuration, customization, and integration.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
