EY Consulting is a fast-moving, high-growth area with huge potential. Being a member of our Consulting team means you will specialize in a particular competency - Risk, Technology Consulting, or IT Risk & Assurance. Our Technology Consulting team is focused on helping clients improve operational efficiency and security, while also reducing costs and managing risk.

 

We help clients by delivering assessment, transformation and process efficiency solutions in specialty areas like finance, supply chain, IT Advisory, customer, people and organization change, strategic direction, and program management. To address the shifting landscape of our clients' needs, EY has established a national Center of Excellence focusing in the broad topics of Enterprise Intelligence, Risk Transformation, IT Risk, and Enabling Technologies. Enabling Technologies primarily focuses on the design and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) packages like SAP, Oracle, and others. Our team typically works with Fortune 1000 clients across a variety of industries including, Manufacturing, Pharma, Energy/Utilities, Transportation, Telecommunications, Entertainment/Media, Oil/Gas and Consumer Goods/Retail.

 

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Manager for Technology Consulting practice to join our team with experience in one or more of the following:

  • SAP ECC6 or S/4HANA with functional competency in one of the following modules:
  • SAP MM / PM / Opentext / FICO / SD
  • SAP BPC Plan / Conso
  • SAP eWM
  • SAP PPQM
  • SAP Group Reporting
  • SAP Testing and Integration

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively contribute in performance improvement projects, develop analysis, engage client teams and stakeholders, and deliver high-quality work products. 
  • Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities.
  • Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of recent relevant SAP experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in consultancy, professional services or project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and manage high level, executive relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, process and prose creation, business re-engineering, and application mapping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, client service and business writing and consulting skills, coupled with a strong interest in further designing, developing and integrating business operations and technology
  • Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $000 to $000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $000 to $000.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
