The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Associate (Design Strategy) for the EY wavespace ASEAN team. This person will play a critical role in supporting the team to solve business challenges for EY’s clients, through the power of collaboration and design. He/she will also be an important contributor in helping EY wavespace continue to stay future-ready and bring innovative solutions to the firm and our clients.

Your key responsibilities 

• Be part of the EY wavespace team to solve complex business challenges through the use of design and technology
• Work with the Experience Lead on client projects to design workshops to meet client objectives and outcomes
• Conceptualise and create effective design assets to facilitate discussions and ideation in client-facing workshops
• Work with external ecosystem partners and/or alliances, where necessary, to ensure effective solutioning and quality control
• Contribute to the continued development of EY wavespace, in areas including but not limited to business development, methodology enhancement, effective use of technology and internal marketing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all business lines in the execution of client projects

The ideal candidate should possess the following

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong project management and organizational skills are essential
• Understanding (and preferably experience in) applying design thinking to solve business challenges
• Proficiency in using technology tools to visualize ideas and concepts, as well as designing and facilitating workshops
• Familiarity with agile project management practices to adapt quickly to changes and deliver iterative solutions
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, including the use of AI tools, to tackle challenges effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and communicate ideas clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
• Experience using design and collaboration tools such as Adobe, Miro, Figma, Lucid and/or their equivalent
• Other design-related skills relating to workshop design would be a plus
