We’re looking for a Facility Management Senior Associate to join our team.

 

As part of our administration team, you’ll create and edit customer- or template-driven deliverables with speed and accuracy. This role includes finalising files for digital output. The position holder will be expected to demonstrate and apply knowledge of EY’s standard applications (software) and brand standards.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Workplace Support Supervisor in day-to-day facilities operations including renovation and space planning.
  • Work cohesively with members of Workplace Support Services and Facilities Management vendor.
  • Effectively manage escalations, correction of errors, and demonstrate sound judgment in making required trade-offs between business opportunity vs. resources vs. sustainability.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline Admin work processes and contribute ideas to achieve effective and efficient support to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and resolve company-owned property/facility-related issues and take appropriate corrective remedial / rectification action.
  • Manage property maintenance contracts renewal including sourcing and awarding contracts to contractors, such as Cleaning, Services, Security Services, Air-con system, Security systems, Green wall & Landscape, pest control, Fire cert and electrical distribution boards license renewal etc.
  • Liaise with Risk Management/business/support units at all levels in the rollout of various Business Continuity Planning process workflows related to building management works.
  • Planning, Proposing and executing of all office & branch A & A, renovation & reinstatement works.
  • Liaise with designer / main contractors on A& A, renovation works and schedules to ensure the project meets our requirements and timelines.
  • Manage non-IT procurement to ensure procurement processes are in accordance with procurement procedures.

 

Skills and attributes for success 

  • GEO ‘O’ level or above
  • Approximately 1-2 years of relevant experience or familiarity with a professional services firm environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic, with customer service, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Word (including styles and macros), Excel, PowerPoint and BizFin *preparation tool for preparing XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) financial statements
  • Ability to gain a solid knowledge of EY’s brand/strategy

 

Good to haves:

  • Safety certifications
  • Background in mechanical engineering
