Senior Manager – Strategy & Ops, Americas Consulting Managed Services (ACMS)

EY's Americas Consulting Managed Services (ACMS) provides comprehensive solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation for our clients across various industries. The ACMS Leadership Team is focused on establishing our firm as a leader in the consulting managed services space, with an ambitious goal to triple our current revenue in the next five years. This role is critical in driving the design, execution and realization of the strategy based on the vision set forth by the Americas Consulting Managed Services Leadership.
 

The opportunity

We are actively searching for a Senior Manager – Strategy & Ops, ACMS to join our Americas Consulting Managed Services Leadership Team.  In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our strategic initiatives. This position is essential for aligning our managed services offerings with the broader organizational goals, establishing EY as a leader in the consulting managed services space. You will provide strategic insights and operational guidance to leadership, managing key initiatives that drive growth and innovation within the consulting managed services domain.

This role reports directly to the Americas Managed Services Consulting Leader.

 

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager – Strategy & Ops, ACMS, you will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of strategic initiatives that support our growth objectives. You will maintain a focus on quality and risk management while navigating operational and organizational dynamics. This role will challenge you to propose innovative solutions, and provide deep insights through analysis and knowledge of best practices. Additionally, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of overall strategic plans and of tactical operational recommendations, ensuring clarity and alignment with the vision of the Americas Consulting Managed Services Leadership Team, operational capabilities and market demands.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, engaging with clients and internal teams to drive cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving business needs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven success in developing and deploying strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with senior leadership in the firm
  • Familiarity with the firm’s policies and processes and working relationships across the business and enablement functions
  • Knowledge of EYs assets and solutions

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear explanations that resonate with stakeholders  
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering cross-functional collaboration
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, matched with excellent leadership skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels 
  • Flexibility to navigate through multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change  
  • Strong influencing skills and a teaming mentality

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $148,900 to $340,200..  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $178,700 to $386,600.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
