As a Senior Manager in Tax Compliance, you will lead the design and execution of scalable, technology‑enabled compliance and reporting processes that align with evolving tax regulations and organizational strategy. You will manage end‑to‑end delivery of tax provisions, direct and indirect returns, and reform calculations, while promoting governance, risk, and compliance frameworks that drive efficiency and transparency.
Your key responsibilities
You will own complex engagements from planning through closure, ensuring quality and risk management while navigating operational dynamics. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, oversee engagement economics, and develop resource plans and budgets. Regular travel may be required based on client needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law; master’s preferred.
- Typically, no less than 5–7 years relevant tax experience.
- CPA certification or licensed attorney status.
- Demonstrates mastery of tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation.
- Applies finance compliance and regulation awareness.
- Understands global compliance requirements..
- Conducts tax legislation and impact assessments.
- Performs tax reform calculations.
- Executes outsourcing/co‑sourcing activities.
- Manages tax controversy matters.
- Manages tax accounting and provisions.
- Leads process transformation efforts.
- Applies accounting principles and standards.
- Analyzes applications and tools for process improvement.
- Communicates insights through data visualization and storytelling.
- Delivers client trust and value.
- Strong communication skills.
- Negotiates and influences with credibility.
- Applies sector knowledge and has a global mindset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience leading multi‑geography teams

- Familiarity with tax technology ecosystems
- Executive presence and business development skills

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,600 to $298,700. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $156,800 to $339,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
