Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager - Tech Consulting - Data & AI - Data Scientist - Riyadh

The Opportunity

As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager within our Data & AI practice, you will lead the delivery of advanced AI, machine learning, and generative AI use cases across complex client environments.

You will work closely with clients across the Saudi market to design AI platforms and data science solutions, while contributing to large-scale transformation programs, proposals, and the growth of EY’s AI capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end AI, machine learning, and data science solutions across multiple client engagements.
• Develop and implement advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and generative AI use cases.
• Architect and deploy AI and ML solutions across enterprise platforms and cloud environments.
• Support the design and implementation of generative AI architectures and AI-enabled applications.
• Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders to operationalize AI solutions.
• Implement and support MLOps and AIOps practices to enable scalable and production-ready AI.
• Prepare and deliver high-impact client presentations, technical designs, and executive-level materials.
• Contribute to AI and Data & AI proposal development, solution shaping, and estimations.
• Guide junior team members and contribute to EY assets, methodologies, and accelerators.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL for data science and analytics use cases.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and advanced analytics techniques.
• Proven experience with machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI implementations.
• Strong knowledge of AI platforms, infrastructure, and enterprise deployment patterns.
• Experience with cloud and on-premise technologies supporting AI, ML, MLOps, and AIOps.
• Working knowledge of data management and governance tooling such as OpenMetadata, Dataplex, Informatica, Collibra, or similar is a plus.
• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to articulate AI value to technical and business audiences.
• Strong business and commercial acumen within a consulting delivery environment.

Additional Experience (Advantageous)

• Exposure to data strategy, AI strategy, data governance, and AI governance initiatives.
• Understanding of data quality frameworks and regulatory requirements including NDI, NDMO, and PDPL.
• Experience contributing to large-scale data and AI strategy or transformation programs.

Experience and Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in Data & AI consulting, with a strong focus on AI and data science delivery.
• Proven track record of delivering machine learning or AI solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Language Requirements

• Arabic language skills are preferred but not mandatory.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
