Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager - Tech Consulting - Data & AI - Business Functional - Riyadh

The Opportunity

As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager within our Data & AI practice, you will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, shaping functional use cases, requirements, and value-driven data and AI solutions.

You will support clients across the Saudi market by leading business analysis for data and AI initiatives, contributing to transformation programs, and supporting proposal development and practice growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business and functional analysis for data and AI initiatives across multiple client engagements.
• Identify, define, and prioritize data and AI use cases aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable data and AI solutions.
• Support the implementation of data platforms and generative AI use cases from a functional perspective.
• Develop functional requirements, business cases, and value assessments for data and AI programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solution adoption and value realization.
• Prepare and deliver high-impact client presentations, functional designs, and executive materials.
• Contribute to Data & AI proposal development, solution shaping, and commercial discussions.
• Support and mentor junior team members as part of EY project teams.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong functional and business understanding of data and AI solutions and their application across industries.
• Good working knowledge of SQL to support data analysis and validation activities.
• Understanding of data platforms, generative AI implementations, and AI use cases.
• Ability to perform structured business analysis within data and AI transformation programs.
• Familiarity with AI platforms and enterprise AI implementation approaches.
• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to communicate insights and value to senior stakeholders.
• Strong experience preparing client presentations, use cases, and Data & AI proposals.
• Very strong business and commercial acumen within a consulting delivery environment.

Additional Experience (Advantageous)

• Exposure to Python, data modeling, and hands-on data analysis is a plus.
• Experience with data strategy, AI strategy, data governance, and AI governance initiatives.
• Understanding of data quality frameworks and Saudi data regulations including NDI, NDMO, and PDPL.
• Experience contributing to enterprise or national-level data and AI strategy programs.

Experience and Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Data & AI consulting or related business-focused roles.
• Proven experience supporting data, analytics, or AI initiatives in a consulting or enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Language Requirements

• Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
