The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Procurement/Supply Chain Specialist with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration, and who possesses strong analytical, negotiation, and supplier‑management capabilities.
You will play a key role in driving efficient procurement operations, ensuring quality vendor relationships, and supporting our organization with strategic insights and best‑practice methodologies across the supply chain.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including sourcing new vendors and evaluating existing ones.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure favorable conditions for the company.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, monitor market trends, and analyze pricing structures.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost analyses, supplier performance metrics, and savings opportunities.
- Analyze data and procurement information to support strategic purchasing decisions.
- Address and resolve issues related to delivery discrepancies, quality concerns, or payment matters.
- Utilize procurement software and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint) to support daily operations.
- Provide strategic input and a holistic view of procurement and supply chain processes based on business needs and best practices.
Skills and attributes for success
- Ability to approach procurement with a full supply chain perspective, offering insights aligned with best practices and business needs.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with procurement tools and advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in building, managing, and evaluating vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts with favorable terms and conditions.
- Capability to research and assess new suppliers, pricing trends, and market changes.
- Strong understanding of procurement governance, documentation, and company policy adherence
- Skilled in preparing procurement reports, cost breakdowns, and performance dashboards.
- Ability to resolve issues related to delivery, quality, logistics, or payments
- Demonstrated negotiation abilities that contribute to cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
