The Riyadh hub is a purpose-built experience centre connecting EY's global wavespace network MENA region. This is a senior facilitation role at the centre of EY MENA's commercial strategy, requiring sector credibility, AI and digital technology literacy, and the presence to lead high-stakes executive conversations with the region's most senior leaders.

Your key responsibilities

 

As a wavespace facilitator, you'll team with a wide-ranging set of stakeholders in wavespace, across the broader EY community, and externally with clients to build and deliver best-in-class innovation experiences based in a strong design thinking foundation

  • Design and lead session experiences end-to-end from scoping through delivery to output capture - while ensuring all logistical, technological and material requirements are in place
  • Understand the objectives of the session and how the design of the session will meet those objectives
  • Participate in design strategy for concurrent client sessions
  • Create a safe place for participation and input before, during and after experiences
  • Display emotional intelligence and deep understanding of the importance of energy, flow, and inspiration
  • Leverage adept listening skills and display a keen ability to navigate challenging and political discussions and viewpoints
  • Share accountability and influence to enable all team members to contribute and shape client experiences
  • Act as liaison with the Experience Leader/Manager and the other members of the experience team
  • Understand the pursuit context behind each session, contribute to session output capture against named pipeline opportunities, and support the hub's pre-sales discipline
  • Coordinate session logistics and resources, ensuring all logistics are in place, all technology is delivered and functioning, all activities are planned, all material is available
  • Contribute to building the hub's facilitation methodology and, as the team grows, support the onboarding and development of new facilitators across the wavespace network

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

This is a highly visible role with significant client interaction.

 

To qualify you must have

 

  • Experience and confidence with facilitation and/or training
  • Demonstrated track record of facilitating senior executive sessions in competitive, client-facing contexts - evidenced through specific examples. A Professional Qualification in Innovation & Design Thinking would be preferred
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver impactful innovation sessions
  • Sufficient AI and digital technology literacy to lead conversations on AI strategy, automation and digital operations with senior technical and business audiences 
  • Demonstrated ability to engage confidently and credibly with senior executives - Director level and above - in high-stakes, contested business conversations
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate challenging situations in real-time
  • External, client-facing consulting or advisory experience at senior stakeholder level - not solely internal programme facilitation or internal innovation roles
  • Fluency in Arabic & English is a must

 

Ideally, you'll also have

 

  • Degree or Certification in Innovation & Design Thinking
  • Experience in or deep familiarity with the Energy sector, Infrastructure and Government sectors. Candidates without direct sector exposure will need to demonstrate credible sector learning capability at interview.
  • Exposure to or working knowledge of AI use cases in an industry or consulting context
  • Business development experience
  • Event planning experience
  • Ability to travel across MENA region
  • Saudi Nationals Prefferred
