Your key responsibilities:

Together with experienced colleagues:

• Research and provide tax advice to relevant teams on a variety of tax issues.
• Provide tax consultations to clients on various direct tax or indirect issues, including preparing reports and presentations on tax issues and assisting companies in finding answers to current questions about tax application and declaration procedures.
• Collaborate with Audit Department colleagues and assist in audits of the annual report in tax matters.
• Communicate with state institutions and clients, including the preparation of letters.
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• 2-4 years of experience in VAT or direct tax consultations.
• Finished higher education in tax area.
• Understanding of the procedure for applying direct tax or VAT laws of the Republic of Latvia.
• Prior work experience in Big4 or tax consulting firms will be considered advantageous.
• Excellent spoken and written Latvian and English as we work with international clients.

Salary: EUR 2300 - 3100 EUR gross (depending from the experience)
