Senior Consultant – EY- Parthenon Strategy and Execution
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Consultant to join our EYP team, focusing on Commercial Due Diligence, Financial Due Diligence and Strategy. In this role, you will lead projects that assess market opportunities, competitive landscapes, customer dynamics, and financial performance to support clients in making strategic investment decisions and driving value.
- Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) – analyze the market, competitors, and business strategy to evaluate if the company has growth potential and is a good fit for potential investors.
- Financial Due Diligence (FDD) – lead financial assessments of target companies, evaluating financial health, risks, and performance drivers.
- Strategy – provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients to enhance value and drive business growth.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you will take full ownership of key parts of the engagements, executing them independently. You will be supported by the Manager and will coordinate the work of junior team members.
- Lead commercial and financial due diligence projects for M&A transactions.
- Conduct thorough analyses of financial statements, cash flows, and operational metrics to assess the financial health and risks associated with target companies.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to evaluate industry trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their strategic objectives and provide tailored recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, legal, and operational experts.
- Develop financial models to evaluate strategic options and support analysis.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations highlighting insights, risks, and recommendations.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment while ensuring adherence to EY's quality standards.
- Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Use EY’s internal AI-powered tools and data platforms to streamline analysis and improve accuracy.
Skills and attributes for success
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related subject.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar field (transaction advisory, management consulting, M&A, investment banking, or private equity).
- Advanced understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Knowledge of business processes and how businesses work and make money.
- Experience in a Big Four or management consulting company is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Advanced at using PowerPoint and Excel.
- Fluent in Latvian and English as we work internationally.

Salary: 2350 – 2900 gross (depending on candidates’ experience)
