The opportunity  

Working as an Auditor gives you unique, varied and exciting work experiences. You will be a part of our Audit team and help our clients meet regulatory requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights. Being an Auditor lets you interact with multiple organizations, across different industries, and across different countries, to gain unique insights into how business operates. You will have unique opportunity to understand the factors driving business performance, assess challenges and apply critical thinking.    

Your key responsibilities  

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the audit client’s business;
  • Interact with the clients in order to collect all the necessary data/information, set up and maintain audit files, prepare leads, etc.;
  • Support the planning, execution and delivery of audit engagements;
  • Clearly and accurately document the execution of audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, audit client's engagement history, and planned audit approach;
  • Other data and information analysis based on engagement needs.

 

Skills and attributes for success:

  • At least 1 year of experience in external financial audit or relevant experience in Accounting
  • University degree or being last year student of economics/ finance/ accounting/ business/ other business-related subjects;
  • Passionate about finance, attention to details, curiosity;
  • Proper mix of strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Motivation to continually develop personal & technical skills through training, experience and coaching;
  • Excellent Latvian and English language skills as we work with international clients.

Salary: 1500 - 1800 eur gross (depending from previouse experience)
