The opportunity 

  • You will have the chance to work on projects at market leading banks in such regions as Baltics, Nordics, Central Europe and even Central Asia. The work will require a combination of hard and soft skills, meaning it will provide an exciting mix of direct communication with top management of Banks, active participation in problem-solving, hands-on development of new solutions, and significant use of data & technical skills.

Your key responsibilities 

  • Successfully and self-sufficiently execute tasks, including performance of data analytics, and documentation of results in line with the agreed deadlines and quality standards.
  • Utilize your skills and Financial Risk Management knowledge to perform self sufficient research, construct a clear message with observations and recommendations.
  • Generate high value outputs by independently executing tasks related to assessment, design, development, documentation and validation of Financial Risks in FS Sector.
  • Apply statistical and mathematical techniques to carry out reactive and proactive data analysis on large datasets using a range of technologies (SQL, R, Python).
  • •Formulate reports depicting the results with clear visual representation and storyline.
  • Effectively work on one or more projects and/or solutions, ensuring a focus on quality and effective time management.
  • Continuously improve and rapidly evolve your knowledge and skills in SQL, R, Python and Credit Risk, Capital Adequacy, CRR3, RWA, and other related areas.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience in the Banking sector in the areas of Financial Risk Management is highly desired.
  • Experience in Credit Risk and/or Capital Adequacy will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent Excel, and proficient SQL or Python or R skills.
  • Education in either Finance and Business, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics, IT.
  • Excellent English skills are mandatory. German or Russian language skills will be considered an advantage as we work with international clients.
  • Prior Big4 experience will be considered an advantage.

Salary: EUR 2000 – 2600 gross.
