Join our Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team as an  Accountant – be a vital pillar for financial integrity, providing comprehensive accounting solutions, and helping businesses to maneuver through complex compliance obligations. 

The opportunity  

When you join EY Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team, you’ll be at the forefront of advancing financial transparency, spearheading competent accounting practices, and guiding organizations to meet their regulatory commitments. 

Your key responsibilities:

• Post transactions, maintain accounting records, process and issue invoices, manage bank accounts, and prepare payroll calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. 
• Conduct reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. 
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. 
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. 
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• A graduate degree or you study economics, finance, accounting or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Latvian and English languages as we work with internatonl clients.
