The opportunity

This opportunity is within our Financial Accounting and Advisory Services practice, which covers a wide range of accounting and reporting, transaction accounting, treasury, finance and digital transformation and corporate governance services that can help clients meet changing market conditions and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for Senior Consultants / Assistant Managers / Managers to support and manage the delivery of Internal controls (SOX-ICFR methodology) and corporate governance solutions to a diverse range of clients across sectors.

The role will be based in our Centers of excellence in Pakistan and will cater to the client engagements across the MENA region.

 

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior consultant,, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as finance and accounting, and a professional certification like ACCA, CA, CPA, CISA or MBA in finance.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in a similar role, out of which a minimum of three years must be within consulting focusing on risk management and internal controls projects
  • Must have worked on at least one end-to-end ICFR/SOX implementation project and must be hands on with all SOX/ICFR documentation
  •  Preference will be given to candidates having:
    • ICFR experience in financial sector (banks, insurance, funds etc.)
    • ICFR experience in IT system/controls. This would include experience in designing and testing IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application controls, including designing minimum control standards
  • Further, experience with development of IT/ Cyber policies and procedures including IT governance framework, risk management framework, compliance framework, etc. would be an added advantage.
  • The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East is required.
