Testing - WAM Functional - Senior

 

 

Requirement Overview:

 

Looking for a Senior Test Lead with strong experience in Charles River (CRD) platform and Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) domain. The role involves requirements analysis, functional and integration testing, and automation, ensuring compliance and quality for investment management workflows.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for leading a project team and monitoring all the project activities from scratch.
  • Gather and analyze requirements for CRD-based implementations.
  • Design and execute test plans for trade management, compliance, and portfolio workflows.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Contribute to automation (Selenium, API, SQL) and optimize test processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure functional accuracy and compliance.
  • Document test results, raise defects, and track resolution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor staff resources.
  • Accountable for delivering the work and meeting required targets without any deviations.
  • Participate and lead all the status calls, Scrum calls, and client meetings. Review and send out the DSR & WSR to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain robust testing strategies and processes and ensure they are properly implemented and followed.
  • Prepare test Planning, estimation, test Strategy, Requirement gathering/analysis, prepare test scenarios & test scripts based on the requirements, execute the planned test cases and report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process.
  • Hands-on experience on test management tools like JIRA & ALM.
  • Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly.
  • The ability to define, monitor, and report on SLAs to ensure that services meet agreed-upon performance and availability standards.
  • Manage resources effectively ensuring on-time delivery of products.
  • Maintain a detailed record of test results and relay these results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to software quality at each phase of the software testing process.
  • Review application designs, requirements, and specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development, and teaming etc.)

 

 

Skills Required:

 

  • Hands-on experience with Charles River (CRD) platform.
  • Manual & Automation Testing (Selenium, API, SQL).
  • Domain knowledge: Wealth & Asset Management, Trade Lifecycle, Compliance workflows.
  • Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly.
  • ISTQB certification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities

 

 

To qualify for the role, you must also have:

 

  • BE / BTech / MCA / M.Sc.
  • 5-8 years of testing experience in Banking & Wealth Management platforms
  • At least have basic experience in any of the automation tools (Selenium, UFT, Protractor)
  • Experience in functional testing methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Flexible in working any shifts / ODC environments.
