Job Title: Testing - Custody Services

Location: Pune, India

Job Summary: The Selected Candidate will be responsible for performing testing activities within the custody business. The ideal candidate will possess robust experience in designing, executing, and managing testing processes for securities services operations, especially within custody, and will be highly proficient in T+1 settlement, post-trade lifecycle validation. This role demands expertise in test planning, test case creation, defect management, and quality assurance, along with strong analytical skills and process mapping capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and define testing requirements and acceptance criteria specific to custody services.Conduct requirements elicitation and design definition with a focus on testability and operational improvements.Develop and execute test plans and customer journey maps to validate user experience and service delivery effectiveness.Manage the testing lifecycle, ensuring traceability from requirements through to test execution and defect resolution, in alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.Evaluate potential solutions and contribute to strategy analysis and business case development from a testing perspective.Utilise common testing and business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio for documentation, test management, and communication.

Qualifications:3-7 years of hands-on experience in designing and executing testing activities within the custody or securities services domain, ensuring comprehensive coverage across various functions.Proficient in validating processes related to key securities services operations such as custody, clearing, fund administration, securities lending, Treasury, and FX, with a focus on identifying and addressing operational risks through rigorous testing.Deep understanding of the T+1, post-trade lifecycle, enabling effective validation of custody operational workflows and their integration points.Strong skills in business analysis from a testing standpoint, including eliciting, analysing, and defining requirements to ensure they are testable and aligned with quality objectives.Experience in mapping and modelling business processes to identify critical testing touchpoints and ensure end-to-end coverage.Knowledgeable in applying customer journey mapping techniques to develop and execute test scenarios that reflect real-world user experiences and service delivery outcomes.Adept at managing the requirements lifecycle and evaluating solutions from a quality assurance and testing perspective, ensuring traceability and alignment with business expectations.Familiar with industry-standard business analysis and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio) for documenting, tracking, and communicating testing artefacts and progress.Solid grounding in formulating testing strategies, developing test plans, and executing test cases to support robust quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
