The Opportunity:

We are looking for a skilled Regulatory Reporting Professional to drive end-to-end delivery of regulatory reporting solutions and reporting transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global stakeholders to design, implement, and optimise regulatory reporting processes, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements while enhancing data quality, controls, and operational efficiency across reporting frameworks.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, high-integrity solutions while building a mature practice and driving a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
  • Regulatory Delivery & Governance: Lead end-to-end execution and sign-off for U.S. and global regulatory filings (including MTL, capital adequacy, liquidity, ICAAP, and balance sheet reporting).
  • Licensing Strategy & Framework Setup: Assess new licensing requirements across jurisdictions and design end-to-end reporting frameworks, templates, and operational processes from scratch.
  • Control Architecture & Audit Readiness: Enforce maker-checker protocols, robust audit trails, and sign-off governance to maintain continuous audit readiness and mitigate operational risk across all reporting lines.
  • Process Automation & Platform Scalability: Spearhead process optimization and automation using SQL, Python, and modern data platforms to eliminate manual effort, standardize workflows, and improve scalability.
  • Business Alignment: Partner with business leaders to translate strategic requirements into scalable platform solutions and drive agile delivery for existing and new offerings.
  • AI & Advanced Analytics Fluency: Institutionalize responsible AI adoption and advanced analytics to automate anomaly detection, exception handling, and regulatory commentary generation.
  • SLA & Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and reporting timelines to sustain high delivery precision across all client engagements.
  • Global Stakeholder Management: Partner with U.S. and global leadership, managing cross-border delivery models and cross-functional partner relationships.
  • Time-Zone Flexibility & Coverage: Operate with time-zone agility to ensure seamless hand-offs with international stakeholders and meet strict global submission windows
  • Al fluency - Demonstrates broad knowledge of AI trends, opportunities, and risks within operations. Supports the implementation of AI driven process improvements, encourages responsible AI adoption within the team, and contributes to efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in regulatory reporting or financial services.
  • 3–5+ years successfully leading cross-functional teams and managing practice delivery.
  • Deep domain understanding of U.S. and global filings, including MTL, capital adequacy, liquidity, ICAAP, and balance sheet reporting.
  • Proven ability to assess new jurisdictional licensing requirements and design reporting frameworks from scratch.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (CPA, CA, CFA, or MBA strongly preferred).
  • Track record of establishing maker-checker protocols, robust audit trails, and risk management frameworks to maintain continuous audit readiness.
  • Strategic ability to drive end-to-end process automation and leverage SQL, Python, Snowflake, or Looker to modernize legacy platforms.
  • Practical focus on institutionalizing responsible AI tools and advanced analytics for exception handling, anomaly detection, and commentary generation.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory mandates into actionable business requirements (BRDs) and bridge business units with system architects.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interface with senior leadership, product teams, and engineers.
  • Proven capability managing onshore/offshore cross-border delivery models with time-zone flexibility to support extended global submission windows.
