How organizations manage their capital today will define their competitive position tomorrow. The Strategy and Transactions service line helps create social and economic value for our clients by helping them make more informed decisions about strategically managing capital and transactions, including raising, investing, optimizing, and preserving capital.
Deal Advisory - Deal Advisory encompasses comprehensive advisory services supporting clients through every stage of a transaction, including buy-side financial due diligence support in mergers and acquisitions, sell-side divestment advisory, capital and debt structuring and raises, and other corporate finance engagements. Our team advises clients on maximizing transaction value by evaluating financial, commercial, strategic, regulatory, and operational considerations, and identifying potential synergies and risks.
To grow our team, we are recruiting for Strategy and Transactions (SaT) Consultants within our Deal Advisory Team.
Your key responsibilities
- Perform detailed financial due diligence on merger/acquisition targets, identifying potential risks, integration opportunities, and valuation considerations.
- Assist in sell-side advisory engagements through market assessments, valuation analyses, and preparation of information memoranda.
- Support debt structuring and financing procurement activities, including debt capacity assessment, financial modeling, and negotiation support.
- Analyze working capital needs, seasonality, and other adjustments critical for client negotiations during transaction closes.
- Employ advanced analytical tools and techniques, championing digital solutions within Strategy and Transactions.
- Coordinate effectively with clients and other relevant stakeholders during transaction cycles.
- Support in preparation and coordination of client presentations and due diligence dataroom administration management.
- Assist in preparing proposals and presentations in support of business development initiatives.

What we look for
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA) is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Related experience will be considered an asset (including background in audit). Experience levels will be assessed accordingly. Interested candidates holding no work experience can be considered for entry level roles
- Good appreciation of local, regional, and global macro-economic conditions and trends
- First-hand experience in financial analysis, e.g., from an internship
