EY, a global leader in professional services, is seeking a Regional Brand Marketing and Communications (BMC) Lead for our Caribbean practice, which spans Aruba, Barbados, Curacao, Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia and Suriname.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of local markets, cultural nuances, and industry trends, and will be adept at effectively bringing multi-channel, external and internal marketing programs to life.
The opportunity:
As the BMC Lead, you will be responsible for enhancing our brand presence and driving business growth across the region through an in-depth understanding of the client lifecycle. You will lead a team of professionals in developing innovative strategies and delivering impactful marketing and communication initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic planning and innovation:
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the EYC markets
- Align marketing plans with the company’s business objectives and regional goals
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the professional services industry
Team leadership/operations:
- Lead and mentor the regional team, fostering a culture of creativity and performance
- Provide guidance and support in the development and execution of functional plans
- Encourage professional development and growth within the team
- Establish and enforce quality control processes to maintain high standards throughout the operations of the unit
- Identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement while collaborating with global teams for the implementation and adoption of related technologies
Brand oversight:
- Strengthen the company’s brand presence and reputation in the region
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all marketing channels
- Manage and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers
Integrated campaign and digital marketing performance:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives to optimize results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign delivery
- Oversee the firm’s regional online presence, including website, social media, and digital advertising
- Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies
Client engagement:
- Provide guidance to the pursuit management team and client service teams to ensure the effective management of the pursuit process
- Champion best practice for account management strategies and tactics to enhance client relationships and satisfaction
- Participate in and oversee the organization of industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Budget management and reporting:
- Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget for the region.
- Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and ROI on marketing expenditures.
- Report on program, operational and financial performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Skills, knowledge and attributes for success:
- Strategic and visionary thinker with a track record of innovative marketing strategies
- Collaborative leader with the ability to inspire teams and engage with executives
- Adaptive learner, staying abreast of industry trends and technologies (e.g. Generative AI in Marketing)
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes
- Proficient in campaign and pursuit management, with strong organizational skills
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills
- Robust market research skills
- High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information
- Deep familiarity with the professional services industry and experience in account management
- High level of networking, team building and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to quickly build knowledge of the EY business, particularly the key priorities, structure, internal and external audience, core offerings and our clients’ issues and agendas across sectors and geographies globally
- Language requirement – fluent in English; Dutch would be an asset
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with web content editing, Adobe suite, Sprinklr, Marketo and other digital communication tools
- Experience with Sharepoint administration
- Strong critical thinking, data and analytical skills
Qualifications and experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Studies, Digital and/or Strategic Marketing or related field
- Master’s degree and relevant certifications are ideal
- Minimum 10 years of B2B marketing experience in professional services or similar industries
- Proven record of managing multiple complex processes, campaigns, programs, digital channels under tight deadlines and with the ability to maintain attention to detail.
- Demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships at a senior level, and ability to constructively challenge stakeholders to open new ways of working.
- Experience working with accounts-based marketing programs would be an asset
