We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our Corporate Tax team in Papua New Guinea.
Our Corporate Tax team is focussed on being a trusted advisor, with a very strong focus on bringing the best of EY to our clients. We think the future is exciting and we are looking for an innovative, pro-active person to join our growing team.
You will work with a well-known and exciting client base across a variety of industries to help shape and enhance business strategies and help them solve tomorrow’s problems today. Your key responsibilities
- Provide business clients with tax advisory and tax compliance services.
- Working with a market leading client list, you will advise on tax matters and help clients practically respond to a complicated environment.
- Drawing on your skills and experience in Income Tax, Salary or Wages Tax, Goods and Services Tax you will help some of PNG’s leading organisations to mitigate tax risk and comply with tax laws in the most effective way.
- Through developing strong and broad relationships with clients, you will provide the highest level of technical advice on the application of tax law and contribute to winning new clients.
- Work across multiple projects and clients, both autonomously and as a team member, collaborating with our global network.
- Liaise with Internal Revenue Commission to assist our clients on all aspects of their corporate tax affairs
- Mentor and supervise junior staff members

- Relevant PNG tax experience ideally gained in a top tier accounting firm, corporate, business consulting or legal environment
- A proven track record in delivering tax services as a member of a professional tax services team
- Ability to develop strong and broad relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service
- Delegation skills, and commitment to investing time to develop and train juniors
- An interest in continuous improvement and the latest tax technologies
