Senior Engineer, Client Technology Platform Engineering (Core Business Services) (Assistant Director) (Multiple Positions) (1571453), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Pittsburgh, PA.
Develop enterprise software applications for both on prem and cloud using primarily Microsoft technologies. Lead the delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for a large or more complex project, using advanced technical capabilities. Take accountability for the design, development, delivery and maintenance of solutions or infrastructure, driving compliance with and contributing to the development of relevant standards. Fully understand business and user requirements and ensure design specifications meet the requirements from a business and technical perspective. Engineer and automate platform solutions to meet and exceed expectations of Product Managers. Proactively evolve and apply DevSecOps methodologies, standards and leading practices. Apply modern development standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, security standards, usability design standards, as appropriate. Ensure quality through use of manual and automated controls. Identify, communicate and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full lifecycle.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate IT industry experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and 7 years of IT industry experience.
Must have 7 years of experience in an engineering role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.
Must have 7 years of experience designing, developing and debugging solutions.
Must have 7 years of experience with programming scripting and data science languages including PowerShell, Python, and .NET.
Must have 3 years of experience with distributed systems including Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, and Elasticsearch.
Must have 2 years of experience with CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management and automation tools including GitHub, Terraform, VSTS, and Ansible.
Must have 2 years of experience with at least one of the following: Azure, O365, Azure Stack, or Azure AD.
Must have 2 years of experience with multi-system Integration using industry standards such as REST, API, JSON, and SOAP.
Must have 2 years of experience with delivery using modern methodologies including SAFe Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall, and development frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
Must have 2 years of experience leading a team of engineers on globally-distributed, technology transformation internal or external engagements.
Must have 1 year of experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, RBAC, or ABAC.
Must have 1 year of experience with cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, and SIEM.
Travel required up to 30%, including up to 10% international travel, to serve client needs.
