EY is seeking a Senior Consultant with deep expertise in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM), specifically in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to help clients transform their IT operations and service management capabilities.

In this role, you will both advise clients on enterprise-scale ServiceNow strategy, architecture, governance, and implementation initiatives and be hands-on with configuration / development. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping organizations establish a reliable CMDB foundation, adopt CSDM best practices, implement ITOM capabilities, and leverage ServiceNow AI-powered solutions to improve operational efficiency, service visibility, automation, and business outcomes.

You will work directly with executive stakeholders, enterprise architects, platform owners, and delivery teams while leading solution design, implementation, and transformation programs across complex environments.

Your key responsibilities

·        Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Health Log Analytics, Service Graph Connectors and Cloud Discovery.

·        Define CMDB strategy, governance, CI lifecycles, data models, identification and reconciliation rules, health metrics and quality controls.

·        Lead ITOM assessments and roadmaps; design MID Server architectures; configure integrations and event correlation across on-premises, cloud, hybrid and containerized environments.

·        Advise client leaders through workshops, current-state assessments, architecture recommendations, business cases, transformation roadmaps and implementation plans.

·        Advise on ServiceNow AI and automation, including generative and agentic AI, Predictive Intelligence, AIOps and Virtual Agents, and establish supporting data foundations.

·        Lead Agile and Waterfall delivery, architecture oversight, risk management, testing, user acceptance testing, issue resolution and documentation.

·        Coach team members; contribute to EY methodologies, accelerators and thought leadership; and support proposals, estimates, client relationships and growth.

·        Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, practical recommendations and clear communications for technical and executive stakeholders.

·        Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaborative leadership skills, with a client-focused approach to delivery and team development.

To qualify for the role, you must have

·        Ability to obtain/maintain a secret level clearance

·        Must have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, management information systems, business or a related discipline.

·        Must have three (3+) years of ServiceNow consulting and implementation experience delivering ITOM solutions.

·        Deep experience with CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management, including enterprise-scale service model and CMDB architecture design.

·        Experience leading client workshops, requirements sessions and architecture reviews, and integrating ServiceNow with external applications using REST, SOAP, APIs, IntegrationHub and Service Graph technologies.

·        A strong understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management principles.

·        ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.

       ·        Must be comfortable working in-person as needed.

Ideally, you will also have

·        ServiceNow CIS certification in Discovery, Service Mapping or Event Management; CTA certification or progress toward it; or ITIL Foundation or higher.

·        Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, IT Asset Management (ITAM), SecOps, SPM, Cloud Operations, AIOps, AI Platform, generative AI, Predictive Intelligence or automation solutions.

·        Experience with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud and leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs.

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job is: 
• • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $122,900 to $204,900
  • Bay Area California offices – $128,100 to $213,400
  • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $102,500 to $187,900 
• Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
