Senior Consultant – Business Analyst - Technology Consulting

The opportunity  

As our Technical Business Analyst you’ll play a key role in EY’s Digital Engineering team, analysing complex problems, shaping technology‑led solutions, and working closely with clients to turn ideas into real, measurable impact.

This position is based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options. 

Your key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clear specifications, documenting current‑state processes and mapping them to target end‑state solutions.
• Work collaboratively across stakeholders — including business users, QA, project managers and technical teams — to support effective project delivery in complex environments.
• Draw on market and process insights to support process re‑engineering, Agile delivery and continuous skill development, acting as a trusted advisor to EY stakeholders and clients.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong people and project delivery experience, including working in teams
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.  

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst with ability to work across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Experience in data and integration projects
• Experience in performing analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations to clients.
• Good knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. cloud, databases, Business Intelligence, software development, integration and customer experience platforms.
