National Events Coordinator
The opportunity
As our National Events Coordinator you’ll be joining our National Sponsorship and Events team to support the execution of strategic events and sponsorship activations as well as local initiatives with the aim of enhancing the brand, reputation, and relationships of the firm.
This position is based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Assist the National Sponsorship and Events Team in organizing and executing a variety of events, including hospitality events, technical and internal office events.
- Support the planning and execution of local Perth events, ensuring alignment with the firm’s branding and strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance to all administration and governance of sponsor properties.
- Continue to build relationships with internal and external sponsorship and event contacts.
- Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Contribute innovative ideas for improving client experiences.
- Support in arranging virtual events across different platforms.
- Adhere to the best practice marketing processes within the firm and educate the wider team about them.
- Contribute to brand campaigns and firm-wide events.
- Ensure smooth coordination and execution of events.
- Undertake other responsibilities and tasks as needed to achieve agreed performance outcomes.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in event planning and execution.
- Competent in project management and multitasking.
- Experience in collaborating with external suppliers (venues, AV, caterers, etc.).
- Familiarity with a CRM system and an e-marketing tool will be a plus.
- Experience in working as part of a team and collaborating with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
- A tertiary qualification in event management or a related field preferably with some experience in an event role, preferably in professional services or B2B environment.
