Manager Technology Assurance

 

The opportunity        

 

As a Manager, you’ll lead and deliver high-quality IT audit and assurance engagements, managing teams and overseeing client portfolios across a range of industries. You’ll build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, and support clients in strengthening their technology risk and control environments.

 

This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead and deliver IT risk and assurance engagements, including ITGC, SOX and SOC reporting, to drive high-quality client outcomes
  • Manage teams to deliver IT Assurance/ Audit engagements - including evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls (e.g. application & IT general controls) in support of audits to meet external financial reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to enhance risk frameworks and deliver value

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Experience leading IT audit and assurance engagements across frameworks such as CoBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 or SOX
  • Strong understanding of IT controls, including application controls and IT general controls, within financial reporting environments
  • Proven ability to manage teams and deliver engagements in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

 

  • Relevant degree in IT, accounting, business or related discipline
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CISA, CIA, CISM or CISSP
  • Experience across IT audits, SOC reporting, or technology risk advisory within financial services or complex environments
  • Interest in emerging technology risks and helping clients improve control effectiveness
