Our International Corporate Tax Advisory (ICTA) practice helps our clients effectively manage their global tax issues, challenges and opportunities efficiently and responsibly. As part of a global team of 35,000 tax professionals in 150 countries, you will be part of the only specialist international tax practice in the Perth market.

With significant changes to cross border rules arising from the OECD BEPS program and other global and local initiatives, this is a growing and dynamic focus area for our clients.  As a result of continued global focus on multinationals, together with growth and momentum in our business, you will join as a Manager in our International Corporate Tax Advisory team where you will deliver timely tax international tax advice, responsive services and work products that exceeds client expectations.

 

This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Help Perth based and inbound global organisations structure their transactions tax efficiently, mitigate tax risk, and comply with tax laws in the most effective way
  • Provide advice on the application of domestic Australian tax law and tax treaties, including both established law (thin capitalisation, controlled foreign companies) and recent developments, including BEPS 2.0 and anti-hybrids
  • Provide tax planning and structuring (inbound and outbound) solutions
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Build strong internal relationships within the ICTA team in Perth and globally as well as other service lines, especially Transfer Pricing  
  • Support ICTA leaders and team members

 

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Help Perth based and inbound global organisations structure their transactions tax efficiently, mitigate tax risk, and comply with tax laws in the most effective way
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Exposure to or an interest in international tax will be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service
  • Excellent interpersonal, engagement and time management skills
