The opportunity
As a Manager or Senior Manager ranked Enterprise Architect, you will provide architecture leadership across complex operational, asset management, automation, services and corporate function domains. You will develop domain roadmaps, target-state architectures, application rationalisation opportunities, and integration and data architecture strategies aligned to business priorities.
This role will suit an experienced architecture professional with a strong background in mining, resources, logistics or heavy industry environments, and the ability to work across both operational and corporate business domains.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, technology teams and delivery stakeholders to shape future-state technology direction, support architecture governance, and guide technology investment decisions across a large and complex environment.
In line with client requirements this role is based in our Boorloo – Perth, Australia office.

Your key responsibilities
- Develop current-state and target-state architectures that support business priorities and enterprise architecture standards.
- Create architecture roadmaps and leadership across operational, asset management, automation, services and corporate function environments.
- Identify application rationalisation opportunities and provide recommendations that support simplification, standardisation and improved business outcomes.
- Define and guide data architecture, integration architecture and architecture standards across complex technology landscapes.
- Support architecture governance for initiatives and provide technology investment and platform recommendations.
- Engage senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into practical architecture direction and technology roadmaps.
- Work across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, SAP, OT/IT integration and broader integration patterns.
Skills and attributes for success
- Extensive experience in Enterprise or Solution Architecture.
- Strong experience within mining, resources, logistics or other complex industrial environments.
- Demonstrated expertise across Asset Management, Maintenance and Reliability, Process and Automation, and OT/IT integration.
- Broad business architecture and domain architecture experience spanning operational and corporate business functions.
- Experience with SAP, enterprise applications, cloud platforms and integration architectures.
- Strong capability in data architecture, integration architecture, roadmap development and target-state architecture design.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences.
- Experience supporting large-scale operational environments with complex business and operational processes.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below, but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
- Experience with autonomous operations, maintenance systems, digital asset management platforms and industrial automation technologies.
- Exposure to services and functions domains including Rail, Ports, Utilities, Facilities, Finance, People and HSEC.
