EY-Parthenon offers corporate, government and private equity clients professional strategy and transaction advice and services, from corporate, commercialisation or new market entry strategy, to the strategic analysis phase of the transaction lifecycle, through to deal execution, transaction integration and post deal value creation. The goal is to create value for EY clients, people and society more broadly at the intersection of strategy, transaction services and transformation. 

 Strategy and Transaction Execution is a dedicated team within the EY-Parthenon division that helps clients achieve their strategic objectives in strategic transformations, acquisitions and divestments.

 We cover a wide range of operational aspects in a strategic journey or transaction, including strategy facilitation, value creation, synergy assessments, separation readiness and support, operational due diligence, supporting the integration or separation process, and subsequently setting our clients up for post deal strategic transformation. With an unrivalled track record in the industry, you will have the opportunity to be part of the largest dedicated integrations, separations and transformation practice in Oceania.

This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth.

 

 Your key responsibilities 

 

 As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will support and deliver small-medium sized projects or components of large-scale complex projects. Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Manage client engagement teams
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of integrations, carve-outs, and other types of transaction engagements
  • Work on a wide range of strategy engagements, performing market research, stakeholder engagement, structured thinking and strategy facilitation processes
  • Apply your project execution skills, including synergy assessment, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation
  • Analyse and evaluate operating models and financial information
  • Develop effective client relationships at the appropriate client level and be responsible for a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products
  • Identifying key client risks and issues, and mitigating these ahead of time
  • Work across all functions of the business and during the implementation phase, touch areas of the whole organisation.
  • Reporting directly to Directors and Partners

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, curiosity and creative thinking
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in delivering high-quality reports and presentations
  • Adept at building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Driven, but with high EQ  
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strategy, transaction or organisational transformation experience
