The opportunity

You will be responsible to develop and manage the large and complex design templates for different types of delivery channels. This role involves designing, developing and delivering high quality communications solution across multiple channels.

You will be responsible to develop relationships across the business to understand data requirements, applies deep technical knowledge of OT template design to solve business problems in areas where solutions may not currently exist, necessitating new solutions / ways of working / technologies and proactively articulating these to the business.

As a OpenText developer, you will be responsible for creating new templates, forms for batch and on demand application. You will be expertise in change request, application support and batch process.

You will be expected to work flexible hours, including multiple shifts, to meet the demands of our users.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of CCM architecture and integration. A background in IT support or a related field is preferred. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively assist users and document solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop the complex templates for high volume customer communication using Opentext Exstream.
• Implement Data Mapping, Page design, Output queues, Exstream engine processing and packaging.
• Able to work on different types of input files including Reference file, post sort index file, Report file, Post sort report file, Barcodes and search keys.
• Create and manage scalable architecture for document generation.
• Implement enhancements and provide support for production documents.
• Able to work on different queues like PDF, AFP, Email and interactive.
• Provide best practice recommendations for technical and functional changes/upgrade/Migration in OT exstream.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting issues in production environments
• Mentor junior team members, providing training on Opentext Exstream and troubleshooting best practices.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

• In-depth understanding of CCM development and integration process.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on various of version of Opentext Exstream.
• Working experience in Design manager, Designer, Communication Builder, control center, Autosys batch applications.
• Strong Technical knowledge on Pages, Message Template, Flow pages, Tables, Sections and Paragraph, different types of Input and output file formats, Search keys, sorting and bundling, batch script, components, Rules, stylesheet and XPATHS, Messages and Campaigns.
• Experience in batch and Ondemand modules.
• Knowledge on Document API integration.
• Ability to diagnose and fix complex, non-standardized issues under pressure.
• Translating complex technical issues into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Enterprise Content Management
• Identifying potential system failures or performance bottlenecks before they impact users.
• Delivering high-quality support with a focus on user experience and minimizing downtime
• Ability to handle multiple high-priority tasks and projects simultaneously.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Strong in following technologies (minimum 8+year hands on experience on the below mentioned tech stack).

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science
• Platforms: Opentext Exstream(Design Manager and Designer, Comm Builder and Control center).
• Databases & Servers: Strong SQL skills.
• Tools: Command center/ Batch Script.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Certification in Opentext Exstream.

Technologies and Tools

• Opentext Exstream Design Manager and Designer, Autosys, Communication Builder, Control center.
• Postman and SOAP UI.
• Azure Devops
• Linux Shell Scripting, VB Script, PowerShell, JavaScript.
