Job Description: Enterprise Architect (AI Native Digital Engineering & Solutioning)

Role Summary

We are seeking a high-impact Enterprise Architect (15+ years’ experience) to lead AI-driven, cloud-native digital transformation programs and play a dual role across pre-sales (solutioning) and delivery (execution).

This role will drive end-to-end solution architecture, large deal shaping, and enterprise transformation, integrating AI/GenAI, modern engineering practices, and business outcomes. The candidate will act as a trusted advisor to CXOs, converting business vision into scalable, AI-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

• Define and drive enterprise architecture vision, transformation roadmap, and governance frameworks
• Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions across application, data, integration, cloud, and AI layers
• Establish reference architectures, reusable patterns, and architecture standards
• Lead architecture governance, reviews, and decision-making frameworks

Pre-Sales Solutioning & Large Deal Architecting (Critical Capability)

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for large pursuits, RFPs, and strategic deals
• Translate client business requirements into compelling, differentiated solution offerings
• Own solution blueprinting, estimation, and high-level architecture design for proposals
• Define target operating models, transformation roadmaps, and value realization frameworks
• Collaborate with sales, consulting, and delivery teams to build winning propositions
• Drive commercial alignment (effort estimates, pricing models, risk profiling)
• Present solutions to CXO stakeholders, articulating business value, ROI, and technology strategy
• Act as solution orchestrator, bringing together cross-competency capabilities (AI, data, cloud, platforms)

Solution Blueprinting & Transformation Delivery

• Lead architecture design and blueprinting for complex, multi-year transformation programs
• Deliver cloud-native, microservices-based, API-first, and event-driven architectures
• Drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives (modernization, platform engineering, data transformation)
• Provide architecture oversight during delivery to ensure alignment with design principles
• Ensure scalability, resiliency, performance, and security across solutions

AI / GenAI & AI-Native Engineering

• Architect and integrate AI / GenAI solutions (LLMs, Agentic AI, AI orchestration platforms) into enterprise ecosystems
• Design AI-native architectures, including LLMOps, AI governance, and agent-based systems
• Embed AI across SDLC / PDLC to drive accelerated delivery and productivity
• Ensure Responsible AI practices including governance, compliance, and risk mitigation

SDLC / Engineering Excellence

• Drive transformation to modern SDLC/Agile/DevSecOps practices
• Lead adoption of AI-powered SDLC (code generation, testing automation, orchestration)
• Define engineering standards, quality gates, and delivery frameworks
• Enable shift toward intent-driven, AI-assisted, outcome-based engineering

Client Engagement & Advisory

• Partner with CXO, business, and technology stakeholders to align architecture with strategic goals
• Establish trusted advisor relationships and influence enterprise-wide technology decisions
• Drive business case development, transformation strategy, and value realization conversations
• Support innovation workshops, architecture reviews, and executive presentations

Practice & Capability Building

• Build and scale enterprise architecture capability and talent pool
• Develop reusable assets, accelerators, reference architectures, and solution playbooks
• Mentor architects and engineers to enhance technical leadership and consulting skills
• Contribute to thought leadership, market eminence, and innovation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in enterprise / solution architecture roles
• Proven experience in large deal solutioning and pre-sales architecture (RFP/RFI responses)
• Strong experience in end-to-end architecture design and digital transformation delivery
• Deep expertise in:
  • Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) and cloud-native architectures
  • Microservices, APIs, event-driven, distributed systems
  • Enterprise integration, data platforms, and platform engineering
• Solid experience in SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and engineering practices
• Hands-on exposure to AI / GenAI technologies and AI-led delivery models
• Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders and lead solution discussions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

• AI/GenAI (LLMs, Agentic AI, AI orchestration platforms)
• AI governance frameworks (Responsible AI, NIST, ISO 42001, etc.)
• PDLC / AI-native delivery models
• Experience in any of these sectors will be a plus - TMT (Telco, Media, Technology), Consumer Products, Retail, Health & Pharma, Manufacturing/Industrial products, Energy & Utilities and Travel & Leisure

Certifications:

• TOGAF / Enterprise Architecture
• Cloud Architect (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• AI / ML certifications
