Job Description: Business Transformation Consultant - Senior 

Position Overview: The role will work closely with EY leadership to support RFPs, proposals, client orals, and deal origination efforts. The individual will be expected to structure pursuit strategies, develop executive-level POVs, support commercial thinking, and create compelling narratives for senior client decision-makers. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong judgment, clarity of thought, and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • This is a deal / pursuit / thinking role, not delivery
  • Exposure to ambiguity, senior stakeholders, and fast turnarounds
  • Expectation to form opinions, not just compile content

Pursuit & Proposal Strategy

  • Ability to analyze large RFP/RFI documents and identify key themes, deal breakers, and win drivers
  • Experience structuring response strategies rather than answering questions in isolation
  • Strong understanding of evaluation criteria, scoring logic, and compliance vs. differentiation
  • Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders (technology, commercial, legal, delivery)

Point of View & Thought Leadership

  • Ability to develop opinionated POVs grounded in market insight, client context, and EY experience
  • Strong hypothesis-driven thinking (problem → insight → implication → action)
  • Experience converting research, benchmarks, or trends into client-relevant implications
  • Ability to write crisp executive narratives (CIO / CXO audience)

Commercial & Deal Support

  • Understanding of commercial models, pricing levers, and deal structuring concepts
  • Ability to support business cases, value articulation, and commercial trade-offs
  • Exposure to outsourcing, managed services, or transformation deals preferred
  • Comfort working with incomplete information and evolving deal assumptions

Qualifications:

  • Experience in business transformation consulting, preferably in the Technology/TMT Sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
