GDS SaT - Assistant Director – Transaction Diligence

Within SaT, Transaction Diligence (TD) services encompass the strategic development and execution of an appropriate transaction structure, which includes execution of financial due diligence, IPOs and restructuring of banking loans. Our team works to understand profit drivers and trends for historical performance, assumptions of future performance, and assists with review of share purchase agreements and post-closing transaction matters. TD professionals work on buy-side diligence and provide sell-side diligence services. This helps clients maximize value, mitigate risks and achieve their strategic goals, in acquisition and divestiture deals.

The opportunity

We’re looking for an Assistant Director with expertise in Financial Due Diligence, preferably from country practice having experience in dealing with private equity firms and corporates for their mergers and acquisitions transactions or experience in the field of financial planning and analysis to join TD team. Your key responsibilities

• Lead multiple financial due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic clients.
• Handle end to end delivery including supervising and reviewing engagement teams and fieldwork, reporting of diligence findings.
• Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members.
• Support the partners in driving select client relationships of the firm.
• Take the lead on internal practice improvement initiatives relating to training, service quality, sectors, risk, people etc.
• Support a portfolio of engagements, by leading a team of Managers, Assistant Managers, Seniors and Associates.
• Develop and mentor teams.

• Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications including PPT, word

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Chartered Accountancy degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Relevant diligence experience working with Big4 CA firms for corporates and private equity clients for mergers and acquisitions transactions experience.
