GDS SaT – Manager – Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy (Working Capital Advisory Services)
Within SaT, TRS -WCAS team focuses on providing benchmarking, diagnostic reviews of AP, AR and Inventory to EY clients across the globe, studying large volumes of data with SQL, Alteryx, Power BI etc. Other activities include creation of working capital opportunity models and dashboards, managing data related questions, driving change management in Working Capital and Operational processes and developing client specific tools and solutions to optimize cash processes and help reduce inefficient capital allocation.
WCAS works closely with EY SaT professionals globally to ensure delivering high quality, high value products and services to clients. This ensures reducing time taken for the final deliverable by utilizing talent pool in GDS - India. WCAS intends to widen scope of work further in the transaction process

The opportunity
We’re looking for Managers with expertise in AP, AR and inventory optimization and have clear inroads to deliver on Working Capital Management Analytics. Your key responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams executing WCAS which support key conclusions in developing and executing their Cash strategy and process optimization programs
• Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, including operational analytics, project management, problem-solving, and solution implementation  
• Build relationships with EY offices across the globe, and demonstrate knowledge of regional practices Responsible for high degree of GDS user satisfaction with engagement process and work products  
• Provide insights\observations based upon the WC analytics, benchmarking 
• Engage on larger projects and develop ability to pitch for working capital diagnostics and optimization
• Develop expertise on AP, AR and inventory optimization and comprehensive working capital analytics
• Qualitative research and presentations to support client strategy and EY business development activities
• Big data analysis with extensive use of SQL/Power BI / Alteryx / VBA
• Collate the growing practices, develop expertise and mentor the junior members to deliver on high quality output on engagements.
• Manage and expand the existing set of users and build strong engagement metrics
• Support to EY teams through company profiling and benchmarking for different companies / industry sector

Skills and attributes for success

• Process Transformation experience- candidates with hands on experience of operational turnaround services - process design and improvement, planning, inventory management etc.
• Experience of working with stakeholders in global landscape 
• Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas, assess findings and communicate insights   
• Proven experience in interacting with senior management of clients  
• Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation skills  
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing final presentations

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Post Graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science or related field  from a premier institute with 8-11 years of applicable industry / analytics and/or consulting experience  
• Track record of delivering performance improvement projects related to supply chain/inventory optimization, sourcing/procurement or sales/accounts receivable that deliver tangible results (cost reduction, increased cash flow, etc.).

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Project management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
