EY-Consulting–09 Demand and Supply Planning – Senior Manager (14+ years)

The opportunity

EY GDS is a global major in value-added Digital Supply Chain services for its clients. As part of this rapidly growing business segment, you will play a critical role in developing solutions, implementations, and the o9 practice building in the organisation. This role will help the individual to work collaboratively with the end user community, implementation partners, cross-functional teams and other IT resources to identify system deficiencies and opportunities for business process enhancements. As a Senior Manager in this area, you will:

• Develop and execute strategies to build the practice, enhance service offerings, and generate new business opportunities. The role requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in supply chain planning.
• Oversee the creation of compelling proposals and presentations tailored to prospective clients’ needs.
• Continuously improve and innovate SCP service offerings to meet evolving market demands and client needs.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide functional and business process expertise on a project which generally consists of consultants, subcontractors, remote global resources, and client employees.
• Ensure optimal allocation of resources to various projects and initiatives.
• Demonstrate in-depth technical and functional capabilities and professional knowledge across end-to-end supply chain planning processes, covering tactical and operational aspects of demand planning, supply planning, production planning, and procurement / inventory planning.
• Effectively map the business requirements into o9’s platform and come up with a clear, phased achievable blueprint.
• Provide solutions proficiency in 09 Demand or Supply module to analyse and identifying gaps, to lead the solution design, and implement the 09 application modules to meet business requirements.
• Able to conduct workshops to understand end to end business process requirements and propose the best possible solution.
• Deliver high quality client solutions that meet and exceed client/EY expectations and are delivered on-time and on-budget
• Manage client solution delivery, including defining project approach, motivating project teams, monitoring, managing project risks, managing client and EY key stakeholders and successfully delivering client solutions.
• Identifying new business opportunities, including building strong client relations, understanding client needs and EY solution offerings, communicating client opportunities to EY leadership, and helping develop client opportunities

Skills and attributes for success

• Provide strategic guidance and oversight on major SCP implementation projects.
• Work on Proposal and RFP’s
• Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop detailed solution design based on business requirements.
• Strong expertise in detailed configuration and testing of o9 planning platform.
• Assist customer/business teams during UAT phase.
• Prepare and Review project documentations

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• At-least two implementation projects in o9 Demand and Supply Planning as a functional or techno functional consultant
• Good understanding of integration with other modules within planning
• Relevant consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Oracle, O9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, SAP, or leading ERP is an added advantage.
• Very well versed in supply chain related knowledge, be able to understand common business problems, and translate business input to advise clients on appropriate solutions to meet their planning objectives
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business development strategies.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor ’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree
• Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required
• Overall,14 years of experiences as SCM planner and responsibilities delivering projects in Supply Chain Management, Planning domain
• Working experience with Onsite & Offshore delivery model environment is preferred
• Engaging with business partners and IT to understand requirements from various parts of an organization to drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform
• Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines
• Good understanding of outsourcing and off shoring, building win/win strategies and contracts with suppliers
