About Global Delivery Services
Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect / Delivery Manager to lead end to end solution design, governance, and delivery of our SAP transformation programs. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and implementation partners to shape scalable, future ready SAP solutions.
You will play a pivotal role in defining architecture standards, ensuring delivery excellence, and guiding cross-functional teams through complex digital transformation journeys.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture
- Lead the design of end to end SAP S/4HANA solutions across core modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, QM, PM, etc.).
- Translate business requirements into scalable, integrated, and compliant S/4HANA architectures.
- Ensure alignment of solution design with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
- Provide architectural oversight for custom developments, integrations, and data migration.
- Delivery & Program Leadership
- Manage full lifecycle SAP program delivery—from planning and blueprinting to deployment and stabilization.
- Drive delivery governance, scope management, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
- Oversee project plans, resource allocation, timelines, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business SMEs, and external partners to ensure synchronized execution.
- Lead design workshops, prototyping sessions, solution reviews, and steering committee updates.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary advisor to business and IT leaders on SAP capabilities and roadmap planning.
- Build strong working relationships with global process owners, functional teams, and technical leads.
- Influence key decisions through data-driven recommendations and best practice guidance.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure the delivery follows SAP Activate methodology and best practices.
- Conduct solution reviews, quality gates, and design validations.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, automations, and user experience.
Skills and attributes for success
- Technical Skills
- Deep functional and architectural knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (on-premise & cloud).
- Strong experience in SAP integration technologies (BTP, CPI, PI/PO, APIs).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Activate, Fit-to-Standard, and agile delivery models.
- Understanding of master data strategy, data migration tools, and cutover planning.
- Leadership & Delivery Skills
- Proven track record leading large-scale SAP implementation or migration programs.
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination capabilities.
- Ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams and drive outcomes in a complex environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
- Professional Attributes
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex concepts.

Ideally, you’ll also
- Good to have SAP, PMP/Prince2 Project Management Certifications.
- Have experience leading S/4HANA migration projects.
