The Opportunity

 

As an SAP PP Manager, you will lead and oversee SAP Production Planning processes and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless integration with other SAP modules and business functions.

 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP PP processes including Demand Planning, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Scheduling.
  • Manage and optimize PP master data (BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions) and planning parameters.
  • Oversee MRP runs, analyze exceptions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with MM, QM, EWM, IBP, and OT/Planning teams to ensure integrated and efficient end-to-end processes.
  • Lead SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Analyze defects and change requests, providing root cause analysis and solution design with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Prepare and review functional specifications, test scripts, and process documentation.
  • Engage with global business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and drive alignment.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement of SAP PP capabilities within EY.

 

 

Skills and Attributes for Success

 

What we look for:

 

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP, with significant exposure to MM.
  • Strong expertise in MRP, Planned Orders, Production Orders, Capacity Planning.
  • Proven experience integrating PP with MM, QM, EWM, and/or IBP.
  • Experience in managing SAP projects and teams in high-volume, complex manufacturing or high-tech environments (semiconductor preferred).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, offshore-onshore delivery model and manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing teams.
