The Opportunity

 

We are looking for an innovative SAP professional to join our Technical Consulting team, specializing in SAP

 

SAP PM SM within the Core Supply Chain capability. In this role, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams, leveraging your expertise in SAP technology to drive improved outcomes and sustainable results.

 

In this role, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations. You will gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Additionally, you will analyze newly implemented technology solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.

 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • As a Manager in Technology Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering complex technical initiatives. You will face challenges that require innovative problem-solving and analytical skills, providing you with opportunities to grow and learn in a dynamic environment. This role requires regular travel to meet client needs.
  • Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and solutions.
  • Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.
  • Actively participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
  • Lead and design workshops in the PM SM space, gathering requirements and recommending S/4 HANA best practices to implement tailored solutions in clients’ SAP environments.
  • Manage a hybrid team of offshore and onshore team members, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to implementation schedules.
  • Exhibit strong functional expertise in SAP PM SM, complemented by robust business acumen.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including configuration, user guides and test scripts.
  • Oversee and deliver high-quality SAP projects or workstreams.
  • Provide exceptional client service by tracking project milestones, managing risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding progress and results.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with key client personnel at all levels.

  • On your typical engagement, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to assess their needs and provide insights on SAP capabilities in SAP PM SM You will lead requirement gathering, solution design, blueprinting, testing, and documentation. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders and the technical team to translate requirements into effective business solutions, overseeing configurations, customizations, and integrations with both SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Configuration knowledge: SAP S/4HANA SM components, including service notifications, service orders, service contracts, pricing procedures, and warranty/claim processing
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA Fiori applications designed for service management personas
  • Experience working in end-to-end S/4HANA service implementations
  • Service Order & Contract Management: Oversee service requests, contracts (quantity/value), warranties, and recurring maintenance agreements
  • Repairs & Logistics: Business Process in-house repairs, field service executions, spare parts planning, and service confirmations
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep configuration knowledge of SAP Notification, Service Orders, Service Material and billing processes
  • Integration between SM and other core SAP modules, notably Customer Service (CS), Plant Maintenance (PM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Financials (FI/CO)
  • Proficiency in EDI/IDOC processes, OData services, and integrating SAP with non-SAP systems
  • Strong analytical skills to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Proven ability to manage engagement economics and resource planning.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing change effectively.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for additional services and lead specific RFP responses.

 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Responsible for planning and executing SAP Implementation / Development / Support activities regard to SAP – Plant Maintenance and ability to Lead the team.
  • Strong configuration hands on experience in Plant Maintenance Service Management.
  • Integration with MM / QM / CS / SD / FICO modules and with external applications.
  • Sound knowledge in SAP PM SM Master data and transactional activities.
  • Familiar with Configuration and End to End implementation project activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Processes, good understanding of functional/domain knowledge
  • Understand business needs and deliver solutions to make processes more efficient and simpler whenever possible.
  • Cross-functional communication skills; experience in offshore/onsite model.
  • Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements
  • Analyze functional and technical needs and identify gaps and alternative solutions relative to existing design
  • Ability to create Process Definition Document / Design Document (PDD) and Business Process Procedure (BPP) for the solutions provided.

  • Minimum two E2E Implementation Project along with experience in Support / Roll out / Upgrade Projects
  • 10+ Yrs. of Relevant experience
  • Domain Experience required
  • SAP Certification in SAP PM
