The Opportunity

This team offers variety, challenge, responsibility and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. Being a member of our Consulting team means you will specialize in a particular competency - Risk, Technology Consulting, or IT Risk & Assurance. Our Technology Consulting team is focused on helping clients improve operational efficiency and security, while also reducing costs and managing risk.

In this role we are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Asset Accounting (AA) Consultant to join our growing SAP Finance team. In this role, you will lead and support SAP AA design, configuration, and implementation activities across a range of projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions within the SAP FI/CO landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities

• A Senior SAP S/4HANA FI-AA (Asset Accounting) Consultant designs, configures, and implements fixed asset solutions.
• Leading workshops to map business requirements to S/4HANA best practices.
• Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end asset lifecycle, configuring depreciation areas, parallel currencies, and integration with MM/CO/PS modules
• Conduct Business Blueprint design workshops to gather requirements and understand the client's business processes.
• Prepare functional gaps analysis by identifying areas where standard SAP FI-AA functionalities need enhancements or customization
• Provide guidance and support to end-users during testing, training, and post-go-live phases.
• Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the senior manager.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements independently (Mandatory skill)
• Ability to drive design workshops independently with the client (Mandatory skill)
• Must be able to prepare the materials for the design workshops independently (Mandatory skill)
• Must send out the Meeting Minutes of the Workshop post each workshop that he/she leads (Mandatory skill)
• Follow up on the action items from the workshops
• Experience with other sub modules in SAP Finance including AP, AR, GL, Bank and also CO – Cost center Accounting, Profit center Accounting.
• Experience & strong knowledge in Integration between FI/CO, FI/MM and FI/SD.
• SAP Finance/Controlling Certification is a plus

 What we look for

• Candidate must be a qualified CA / ICWA / MBA Finance / M.com
• 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience with SAP Asset Accounting (AA) with S/4HANA, including Universal Journal and New Asset Accounting.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to Asset Accounting.
• Professional certifications (e.g., SAP FI certification)
• Strong understanding of SAP FI module and integration points with CO, MM, PM, and PS.
• Proven experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations or major enhancement projects with Asset migration including Master data and Asset balances
• Experience in asset lifecycle management including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, and retirement including intercompany transfers.
• Experience in asset reporting and support month end and yearend closing activities with exposure to multiple countries
• Ability to draft functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
