Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

As an SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM) Senior, you will be part of a high-performing team delivering SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management solutions to global clients. You will play a key role in optimizing asset reliability, improving maintenance efficiency, and enabling intelligent asset management through digital transformation. This is an opportunity to work on end-to-end implementations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver SAP S/4HANA EAM/PM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions
• Configure and support EAM processes including Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Work Orders, Notifications, Asset Structures, and Maintenance Planning
• Drive integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PS, PP, QM, and FICO
• Participate in Fit-Gap analysis, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and hyper care support
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to design end-to-end asset management processes
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and support user adoption
• Ensure high-quality deliverables such as functional specifications, PDD, BPP, and test documentation
• Support data migration activities (functional locations, equipment, maintenance plans, task lists, and transactional data)
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous innovation initiatives

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong functional expertise in SAP EAM / PM (Plant Maintenance)
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in Engineering
• Minimum two end-to-end implementation projects, along with experience in Support / Rollout / Upgrade engagements
• 4–9 years of SAP PM / EAM experience
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Maintenance Planning & Execution
  • Work Order Management & Notifications
  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
  • Breakdown Maintenance Processes
• Experience in Asset Structuring: Functional Locations, Equipment, BOMs, Task Lists
• Familiarity with S/4HANA Fiori apps for EAM
• Exposure to maintenance cost tracking, budgeting, and settlement processes
• Strong understanding of integration across SAP modules (MM, PS, PP, SD, QM, FICO)
• Experience with S/4HANA implementation lifecycle including Fit-Gap Analysis, Data Migration, Testing, Cutover, and Hypercare
• Understanding of master data migration for technical objects and maintenance data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels
• Experience working in fast-paced, multi-priority environments
• Proactive mindset with focus on quality and delivering client value

Good to Have Skills

• Exposure to RSH (Resource Scheduling for Maintenance)
• Experience with SAP SAM (Service & Asset Manager) / mobile asset management solutions
• Knowledge of SAP FSM (Field Service Management) integration
• Understanding of WCM (Work Clearance Management)
• Exposure to MOC (Management of Change) processes
• Experience with digital asset management, IoT-enabled maintenance, or predictive maintenance solutions
• Integration with third-party tools and asset monitoring systems
