Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

Your Key Responsibilities

• 10+ years of experience in respective domain

Cutover Strategy & Planning

• Develop and own the overall cutover strategy, approach, and governance framework.
• Create and maintain integrated cutover plans covering business, application, data migration, infrastructure, security, and reporting workstreams.
• Define cutover scope, milestones, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and contingency plans.
• Establish cutover governance, communication, escalation, and decision-making processes.

Cutover Execution Management

• Lead end-to-end cutover execution activities across all project workstreams.
• Manage cutover command center activities during mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, and production go-live.
• Coordinate execution of pre-cutover, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live tasks.
• Monitor cutover progress and ensure timely completion of critical path activities.
• Manage issue resolution and stakeholder communications during cutover periods.

Mock Cutovers & Readiness Assessments

• Plan and execute multiple mock cutovers to validate timelines, procedures, and dependencies.
• Conduct go-live readiness assessments and ensure all entry and exit criteria are met.
• Measure cutover performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Drive lessons learned and continuous improvements across rehearsal cycles.

Business & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate activities across functional, technical, business, and third-party teams.
• Facilitate cutover workshops, planning sessions, status meetings, and leadership reviews.
• Present cutover readiness status, risks, and mitigation plans to program leadership and steering committees.
• Work closely with business process owners to ensure business readiness and acceptance.

Data Migration & Technical Cutover

• Collaborate with data migration teams to plan and execute data migration activities.
• Coordinate system freeze periods, data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and load activities.
• Ensure technical activities including transports, integrations, infrastructure readiness, security setup, and batch job scheduling are completed successfully.
• Manage rollback and fallback plans in case of critical issues.

Risk & Dependency Management

• Identify cutover risks, issues, and interdependencies.
• Develop and monitor mitigation and contingency plans.
• Track critical path activities and maintain risk logs.
• Escalate issues proactively to ensure successful go-live.

Hypercare & Stabilization

• Coordinate hypercare support activities following go-live.
• Monitor production stability, defect resolution, and business adoption.
• Track stabilization metrics and transition to support operations.
• Facilitate project closure and knowledge transfer activities.

RFP Solutioning & Estimation Responsibilities

• Lead cutover solutioning activities during SAP implementation and transformation pursuits.
• Define cutover approach, governance structure, mock cutover strategy, and hypercare model for proposals.
• Prepare effort estimates, staffing models, timelines, and cost estimates for cutover management activities.
• Contribute to RFP, RFI, and proposal responses relating to cutover, deployment, and go-live management.
• Support client workshops, solution presentations, and proposal defense activities.
• Define cutover risks, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation approaches for pursuit opportunities.

Skills and attributes for success

• SAP ECC/Non-SAP to SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• SAP RISE migration projects.
• Large-scale global deployments and multi-country rollouts.
• Experience across Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Maintenance, HR, and Payroll domains.
