Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centres. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Consultant – SAP Utilities C4C (Functional) with strong hands-on experience in SAP C4C and S/4HANA Utilities. The role involves end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of Customer Service processes for utility clients, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP C4C solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced functional expertise in SAP IS Utilities & SAP C4C, with practical experience across electricity, gas, and water utility operations to support comprehensive end-to-end business processes.
• Configure and customize SAP C4C system while ensuring that solutions align with business requirements and adhere to EY delivery standards.
• Facilitate and lead business workshops, blueprinting sessions, and solution design activities, including the development of Business Blueprint Documents (BBP/BBD), Functional Specifications (FS), test scenarios, and training materials.
• Provide comprehensive oversight and support throughout all phases of system testing (Unit, Integration, UAT), including effective defect management and resolution, with a particular focus on the Customer Service module.
• Design, enhance, and document both core and customized IS U business processes, applying industry best practices and leveraging EY Utilities accelerators where applicable.
• Collaborate efficiently with technical teams, business stakeholders, and international EY GDS partners to translate complex functional requirements into clear and actionable solutions.
• Exhibit adaptability and readiness to travel as needed to facilitate client engagements and support project delivery.
• Possess a thorough understanding of Utility industry business processes, encompassing both Regulated and Deregulated market structures across electricity, gas, and water sectors.
• Maintain robust functional knowledge of Meter-to-Cash (M2C) processes, Interaction Centre operations, Move-in/Move-out procedures, and related activities.
• Set up essential Cloud for Customer functionalities such as Service Ticket management, Reports and Analytics, Communication system and arrangement configuration, Data Workbench, as well as integration with SAP S4 HANA. Additionally, configure Utilities Add‑On settings, including General Settings, Code List import/dynamic code list, and Move Process configuration (covering terms and conditions).
• Gain experience with localization requirements specific to different countries through SAP IS‑Utilities solutions.
• Key competencies encompass SAP C4C, SAP IS-U Customer Service, Business Master Data, Move In / Move Out processes, as well as disconnection and reconnection procedures.
• Capable of designing templates, accelerators, and process improvements to boost application support efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proficient at collecting, analysing, and prioritizing SAP business requirements, and creating scalable solutions that meet EY GDS delivery standards.
• Possess a solid understanding of configuration dependencies and integration across modules such as Billing, DM, FI-CA, and other related SAP IS‑U components.
• Skilled in creating end-to-end test scenarios, master data setup, and performing unit, cycle, and integration testing.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Demonstrated experience integrating SAP C4C with third-party systems such as Experian, Outage Management System, and Kubra.
• Proficient in SAP C4C Version 2 scenarios within the context of SAP Utilities.
• Solid working knowledge of integration processes among DM, FI‑CA, and SAP IS‑U Billing modules.
