Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer with 7 to 11 years of hands-on expertise in SAP technologies, particularly SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP, and SAPUI5/Fiori. In this role, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining SAP applications leveraging these technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead decision-making processes related to SAP application development and optimization.
• Manage and optimize resources effectively to ensure timely and quality delivery of tasks.
• Oversee team management including personnel allocation, task assignment, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and support to achieve organizational objectives.
• Drive process improvements and foster a collaborative team environment.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Proficient in ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, and BAdI implementations.
• Experience with SAP Gateway and HANA Cloud Connector.
• Strong knowledge of data provisioning and testing OData services.
• Familiarity with SAP Workflow.
• Understanding of SAP Basis and Authorization concepts.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), MCA, or equivalent with 7-11 years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in SAPUI5 and Fiori elements-based app development and front-end extensions.
• Skilled in developing Core Data Services (CDS).
• Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful services using SAP BTP.
• Experience in extending standard Fiori applications.
• Basic understanding of SAP BTP and its services.
• Good to have experience in S/4 key user extensions, developer extensions, and Side-by-Side extensions using SAP BTP.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• SAP certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate) are preferred but not mandatory.
