Job Title:SAP BTP CAP Developer (with Python Expertise)

Experience: -3-5 years

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer with strong experience in Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model and proficiency in Python. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on SAP BTP, integrate with enterprise systems, and leverage Python for automation, data processing, and advanced functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development on SAP BTP
  • Design and implement applications using CAP Model (Node.js).

• Integration & Extensions
  • Implement authentication and authorization using XSUAA and OAuth 2.0.

• Python Development
  • Develop scripts for data transformation, automation, and API integration.
  • Use Python for machine learning models, analytics, or backend utilities where required.

• Database & Persistence
  • Work with SAP HANA Cloud, CDS models, and SQL for data persistence.
  • Optimize queries and ensure data integrity.

• Deployment & CI/CD
  • Set up pipelines for continuous integration and deployment on SAP BTP.
  • Manage application lifecycle using SAP Cloud Foundry or Kyma runtime.

• Performance & Security
  • Ensure application scalability, security compliance, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in SAP BTP CAP Model (Node.js).
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, CDS, and OData services.
• Familiarity with Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and multi-tenant architecture.

Additional Skills

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integration patterns.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or SAP CI/CD).
• Knowledge of security concepts (OAuth, JWT, XSUAA).
