SAP BI-BW HANA plus CDS- Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP CDS View Consultant with strong experience in Core Data Services (CDS) design and implementation within SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of data modeling, SQL scripting, and analytical reporting using CDS Views, and be capable of translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1.  Design, develop, and implement SAP Core Data Services (CDS) Views to support analytical and transactional reporting needs.

  2.  Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into optimized CDS-based data models.

  3.  Develop custom CDS views by extending standard views and enabling features like associations, annotations, parameters, and value helps.

  4.  Integrate CDS Views with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Embedded Analytics for real-time reporting.

  5.  Ensure optimal performance tuning and query optimization for CDS Views and related data models.

  6.  Collaborate with ABAP developers and technical teams to embed CDS-based logic into applications and reports.

  7.  Implement authorization concepts and control data access using CDS annotations and analytical privileges.

  8.  Participate in end-to-end project activities—from design and development to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

  9.  Maintain and document data models, metadata, and relationships between CDS Views, tables, and business objects.

  10.  Stay up to date with SAP S/4HANA innovations, especially in CDS, AMDPs, and Embedded Analytics, to recommend best practices.
