Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior SAP SAC Planning / EPM Consultant to lead end‑to‑end planning implementations and drive finance transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, client‑facing EPM engagements, leveraging SAP SAC, BPC, and emerging AI capabilities such as SAP Joule.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation, support, and enhancement of SAP SAC Planning solutions
• Drive client‑facing discussions, including requirements gathering, solution design, and fit‑gap analysis
• Translate business requirements into effective planning and reporting architectures
• Design and build SAC Models and Dimensions aligned to business processes
• Develop and manage Data Actions, Allocation Processes, and Planning Logic
• Build SAC Stories, Digital Boardrooms, Unified Stories, and Analytical Applications
• Configure and manage data imports, delta loads, and source system connections
• Design and execute import jobs, including advanced formula logic
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure solution scalability and performance
• Provide leadership across all phases of SAP implementation projects (design, build, test, deploy)
• Create training materials, user documentation, and knowledge transfer artifacts
• Support post‑go‑live stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• 12–14 years of experience delivering EPM / Planning solutions
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning, with deep planning expertise
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP BPC Embedded and SAP BW
• Strong functional understanding of finance and business planning processes
• Proven experience in client‑facing roles, including workshops and solution walkthroughs
• Strong expertise in:
• SAC Models and Dimensions
• Data Actions and Allocation Processes
• SAC Stories and Digital Boardrooms
• Analytical Applications / Unified Stories
• Import jobs, formulas, and delta load configurations
• Source system connections and data integration
• Demonstrate lead experience across multiple SAP implementation projects
• Good understanding of SAP Joule and SAP AI capabilities, including how AI‑driven insights and automation can enhance planning, forecasting, and decision‑making processes.

• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
• Highly process‑oriented with a structured approach to solution design
• Ability to work independently and lead complex engagements
• Strong documentation and knowledge‑sharing mindset

Skills and attributes for success

• Expertise in BW and Native Hana Modeling
• Good understanding on SAP BDC and Datasphere Seamless planning
• Working knowledge of R Scripts is an added advantage

What we look for

• Experience working on large‑scale finance transformation or planning initiatives
• Exposure to competitor EPM tools is a plus
• Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability building
• Expertise in delivering the process definition document post workshops. Preparing the system design document by mapping client requirements. Capable to work with the team on sprint planning for the delivery.
