  • Build, validate, and optimize configuration workbooks; plan setup tasks; and ensure migration readiness.

  • Conduct requirements workshops and translate business needs into accurate, scalable Oracle HCM configurations.
  • Lead configuration activities across prototyping, solution build, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.
  • Develop and troubleshoot complex Fast Formulas across Absence, Payroll, Compensation, Eligibility, and custom calculations.
  • Work with technical teams on HCM Extracts, HDL loads, OTBI/BIP reporting, and integration-related activities.
  • Ensure solution quality, track configuration changes, and support go‑live and hyper care phases.

 Requirements

  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end HR processes across Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Talent, and related HCM areas.
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud architecture, workflows, security, approvals, and module interdependencies.
  • Understanding of configuration impacts, statutory requirements, and best‑practice design principles.
  • Proficiency in Fast Formulas including structure, contexts, database items, debugging, and optimization.
  • Working knowledge of integrations, HDL, OTBI/BIP, and HCM Extracts.
  • Strong understanding of testing cycles, issue resolution, and leading UAT with business users.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle HCM solutions.
  • Functional leadership experience: guiding junior consultants, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality.
  • Strong documentation skills including BRDs, solution designs, test scenarios, and configuration guides.
  • Ability to support training, stakeholder discussions, and functional governance processes.
  • Commitment to data accuracy, compliance, and stable configuration across HCM modules.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong functional expertise across multiple Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
  • Hands‑on Fast Formula skills with strong troubleshooting capability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a practical, solution‑oriented approach.
  • Ability to lead tasks independently and mentor junior team members.
  • Good understanding of integrations, HDL, Extracts, OTBI/BIP, and related technical touchpoints.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and process‑mapping skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in fast‑paced project environments.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 4–7 years of strong functional experience in Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Expertise in at least three HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Talent, ORC, etc.).
  • Minimum two end‑to‑end Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
  • At least two Oracle HCM Cloud certifications.
  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle HCM Fast Formulas.
  • Good understanding of integrations, reporting, and data migration (HDL, Extracts, OTBI/BIP).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet delivery timelines.
